A few years ago I started an Ipsy Subscription and really enjoyed it. After a few months it started getting really repetitive in the items I was receiving so I stopped my subscription. They’ve made a lot of changes and updates to how you receive your glam bags and the items in it, so I thought I’d give it another go. And I gotta say, I’m so glad I did. Here’s what was in my June bag!
Every glam bag comes in a cute little makeup bag. This months was a cute little red, Tetris number. Tetris (yes, the game) made a cute little collab with Ipsy and all the products were so fun! I love that game, so I thought this was a creative partnership. The zipper on the bag is one of the classic Tetris blocks and I loved the color. It’s a decent size as well.
Let’s talk about the products now.
First, for starting my subscription up again, I got a free Huda Beauty Mauve Obsessions eyeshadow palette. I gotta be honest, this email offer was a huge catalyst for me renewing my membership. This palette is stunning. Really, so beautiful. Pink is my favorite color and these shades of mauve are perfect. This retails for $27 and I’ll definitely be replacing it when I use all this one.
Next up, this Half Caked Lip Fondant. This is the sweetest, bright pink. Now usually, Ipsy sends sample sizes, but this one is full size. It retails for $16 and the shade is Sweet Tooth. It has a beautiful matte finish and really stays. It is great for summer!
Also part of the Tetris exclusive was this eyeshadow. It’s a pewter, shimmery stunner. I wear it all the time. The bummer to this is that it’s only available with Ipsy and as of now it’s all sold out. I wear this in my crease, just solo, and it’s perfect. I’m hoping this will be restocked. The entire Tetris collections is $40; there’s lots of good palettes and brushes included in the collection.
This Benefit Gimme Brow + is such a great product! I received the shade warm golden blonde and it the perfect shade for me. It’s great for a quick fill-in when I need to run out and don’t have time for doing full-brows. The spoolie is the perfect size. You can get the sample size for $12 or a full-size for $24.
I love skincare and trying out new products. As I get older and Lupus is starting to affect my skin, I’ve started to realize the importance of taking care of it. This peel-off mask, I Dew Care Space Kitten has been great for my T-Zone and the extra large pores/blackheads I have there. I’ve only been using it about 2 weeks (I use it one to two times per week) and have already seen results. I have to hide it from Tim because he loves these too hahaha. It’s got a fun glittery shimmer to it, which is just a little extra fun. A full size of this $23 at Ulta.
Lastly is the best blue nail polish ever!! I’ve always loved fun polish colors and this one makes me so happy! Fluide in the color Secret Project Robot is full sized and retails for $15. Its perfect for the Fourth of the July but I know I’ll be wearing it all the time!
Overall, I’m so happy with my June Glam Bag! All the products were great and I have little to no complaints. For July, I was able to pick on the products I’ll receive which is an exciting new feature to Ipsy. You can sign up here.
All the love,
Kristina
